In the passage of the road, halfway to the town center, we find this small corner. It is a place that once had a central position, since many bars and stores were installed in the surroundings. Especially on the street leading up to the square, which was one of the main streets.
There is still a lot of that left, it is still a bus stop and meeting point for young and old on many occasions. There are hotel and service establishments that can be very useful for us.
The center of the square is occupied by a small monument to the chestnut tree olive, the real social and economic engine of the population. Three grinding stones have been installed on a circular pedestal. They are made of granite and cylindrical in shape, their dimensions give us an idea of the work that was behind one of the star products of the population: olive oil.
